Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems in commercial buildings. The Commercial HVAC Service Technician will ensure optimal system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide exceptional service to our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on large-scale commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, air handlers, and more.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
- Install, replace, and upgrade HVAC equipment and systems in commercial buildings.
- Work closely with building management and clients to assess HVAC needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures while performing tasks.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, new HVAC technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s license and OSHA 10 / 30 Preferred
- Previous experience with commercial HVAC systems (e.g., rooftop units, chillers, large-scale air handling units).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, operation, and troubleshooting in a commercial setting.
- Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced building management systems (BMS).
- Familiarity with Florida HVAC codes and regulations.
- Ability to handle challenging work conditions, including high-rise buildings and large commercial facilities.

Salary: $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
